For the Holiday Inn Telavi hotel, a Kentec and Kidde brand automatic fire detection and gas suppression system (NOVEC 1230) was supplied and implemented in the server room. Fire detection alone is not always sufficient protection. In such cases, the immediate activation of the suppression system is necessary. The system consists of smoke detection sensors, an early fire detection system, and a cylinder filled with a special fire-extinguishing gas. Fire detection and suppression are carried out automatically without human intervention; however, it is also possible to manually activate or stop the suppression system.
